The University of the Philippines Women’s Volleyball Team joins other NCAA and UAAP teams in the Shakey’s Super League, which commences on September 22.
They are drawn in Pool A along with the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, San Beda University, Mapua University, and the University of the East.
SSL also released the lineup of UP for the tournament last week.

Seniors Mai Sotomil and Rem Altomea lead the Fighting Maroons along with UAAP holdovers Ethan Arce, Nica Celis, Aly Bertolano, Euricka Eslapor, Jewel Encarnacion, Stephanie Bustrillo, Jum Gayo, Nina Ytang, and Joan Monares.
New faces also banner the team especially transferee Kamille Cal. Alliah Omar, Nikha Cabasac, Bea Bonafe, Koi Ojeda, Celina Vergeire, Nikkie Baldizanso, and Capistrano complete the 20-woman squad.
